Friday 17 July 2026 A Message from our PTA This year the school has supported a few parents to set up a joint PTA with Fossdene. A PTA is a parent teacher association - a group that brings together staff and parents in a school community to organise events and raise money for the school. There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to set this up officially, but we are pleased to have been involved in sports day bake sale and recent ice pole sales to raise over £150 for our school! Some of the money raised so far is being used to buy new play equipment and items for wet play. We are very grateful for the food and drink donations for the sales and thank you to those who are open to helping - we have just set up our PTA email account so will be in touch soon! We always need new ideas and would welcome more volunteers - we hope to do more events next school year! If you are interested in finding out more or helping a little, or a lot, please email: Acorngrouppta@gmail.com

It has been a year filled with learning, laughter, resilience and growth. Whilst there have been challenges along the way, it has been a privilege to watch our children flourish, support one another and create memories that will last a lifetime.
