End of Year
As we reach the end of another incredible school year, we want to take a moment to thank every member of our Cherry Orchard community. It has been a year filled with learning, laughter, resilience and growth. Whilst there have been challenges along the way, it has been a privilege to watch our children flourish, support one another and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Today was our Cherry Orchard Annual Behaviour Awards (COABA). It was a truly heart-warming occasion, bringing our school community together to celebrate the achievements, kindness, determination and positive choices of our pupils. Seeing children recognised and celebrated by their families, friends and staff was a wonderful reminder that every success deserves to be acknowledged. Thank you to everyone who made the event so special and congratulations once again to all of our award winners.
To our wonderful Year 6 pupils, the time has come for your next adventure. Whilst we will miss seeing you around Cherry Orchard each day, we are so excited for everything that lies ahead. You leave us as thoughtful, resilient and remarkable young people, and we could not be prouder of all you have achieved.
This isn't goodbye—it's simply the beginning of your next chapter. We hope Cherry Orchard has given you more than lessons; we hope it has given you confidence, friendships, happy memories and the belief that you can achieve anything you set your minds to. Be brave enough to take opportunities, kind enough to make someone else's day better, and resilient enough to keep going when things feel difficult. Most of all, never stop believing in yourselves, because we certainly believe in you.
No matter where life takes you next, Cherry Orchard will always be part of your story, and you will always be part of ours. We can't wait to see the wonderful people you become.
Finally, we wish all of our children, families and staff a wonderful summer break. We hope you have the opportunity to relax, spend time with those you love, make lasting memories and enjoy every adventure the holidays bring.
